Dr. Lotus graduated from Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She completed a residency program with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Rockefeller University and Weill Cornell Medical College through which she gained extensive experience with mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, sheep and pigs. She has a combined 20 years experience in general dog/cat veterinary practice/at home hospice and euthanasia, as a Lasix veterinarian for the New York Racing Association, and in cancer research for Merck, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Northwell Health and Hackensack Meridian Health. She gains the greatest satisfaction from strengthening the pet- owner bond by keeping pets happy and healthy and minimizing discomfort and stress. She lives in Sea Cliff, NY with her youngest daughter and mini lop rabbit Teddy.
